How to find Freestyle Hair Design
​
Not sure how to get to the salon? Whether you are coming by car, train or bus, we are easy to get too. Of course, you are more than welcome to walk or cycle to us too.

By Car
​
Directions from Cardiff: Join the A470 from the Coryton Roundabout near Whitchurch. Take the A473 exit towards Llantrisant, and merge onto Cardiff Road. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Broadway. Turn left onto River Street. Turn right onto Park Street. The salon will be on the right-hand side.

Directions from Pontypridd: When on Broadway, follow the A473 turning right. Follow the one-way system on River Street. Turn right onto Park Street. The salon will be on the right-hand side.

Directions from Church Village: Head along Main Road towards Hoel Celyn, and continue onto Llantwit Road. Go straight over the roundabout, when the University of South Wales is on your left. Continue along the road until you get to Treforrest Train Station will be on the left, and the salon on the right-hand side.

Free Parking
Along Park Street, there is free parking. As many people' pop-in' to the nearby shops, if for some reason those spaces are taken, usually they are freed up quickly. Parking is for 1 hour. Some of our clients do park here for the duration of their appointment and have had no issues, however, some have received a parking fine.
There is also park and ride spaces at Treforest Train Station a 2-minute walk from the salon. A Premier Convenience Store is at the end of our road has a small car park, and offers free parking, which is a 1-minute walk from the salon. There is also a small car park on River Street next to Treforest Veterinary Clinic, a 2-minute walk from the salon.

By Train
​
Freestyle is opposite Treforest train station and is approximately a 2-minute walk. The trains on both platforms/directions run regularly throughout the day and are usually are every 10 to 15 minutes.

By Bus
​
From Cardiff: The 132 comes through Cardiff, starting outside the Philharmonic in the city centre, at Cathays Park, Blackweir, Maindy, Gabalfa Interchange, Whitchurch, Tongwynlais, Taffs Well, Nantgarw, Upper Boat, Hawthorn, Rhydyfelin, and Glyn-taff before getting to Treforest.

From Pontypridd: Various buses stop on Windsor Road, or New Park Terrace, both a 4-minute walk from the salon. These include the 107 going towards Treforrest, 102 going to Nantgarw, the 132 circular heading to Cardiff Bay, 100 towards Ynysmaerdy, to name a few.

From Church Village: The Edwards Coaches number 100 bus from Royal Glamorgan to Talbot Green, stops near Treforrest Train Station opposite the salon.
